The EnGedi Bistro recently underwent a face-lift and offers casually elegant dining committed to delivering a delicious outcome.  Overlooking lush gardens, its country wooden deck coupled with a backdrop view of a picturesque mountain range is a captivating experience for food lovers.  ‘EnGedi is a family destination and is focused on providing an oasis experience for everybody: families, friends, companies, groups, schools and soon-to-be newlyweds’, says Milica Jovancic, Assistant General Manager of EnGedi.

EnGedi encapsulates an open-air terrace with a Mediterranean ambience and a culture of French bistro lifestyle together with English gardens and a rich South African flare. The bistro décor of earthy tones and dark wood, complete a casual yet elegant feel. The pergola, green gardens and exquisite flowers & shrubs amidst tranquil water features provide a perfect environment for relaxation, rejuvenation and simple serenity.

The EnGedi Bistro offers an intriguing menu using the freshest locally-grown ingredients, and serves wholesome dishes in a country style environment. Open from Wednesday to Sunday for breakfast and lunch the affordable eclectic menu is complimented by suitable drinks and wine. ‘The culinary team creates authentic & innovative dishes from a signature oasis breakfast, to a six-course alfresco Sunday lunch or the Bistro menu specials comprising panfried prawns tossed with chardonnay risotto, an oasis beef fillet and a delicious chocolate ganache cake,’ says Milica. It is a children’s paradise too with plenty of play area and munchies to choose from. On Saturday and Sunday, children can delight in good wholesome fun by creating their own pizza around the EnGedi pizza oven. A place where children become little VIP’s!

EnGedi is also designed to offer the perfect venue to enjoy a relaxed and intimate function from wedding ceremonies, to kitchen teas, baby showers, birthday parties, anniversaries or year-end functions.
